Description:

"Lost in Rapture" is an imaginary JRPG inspired by Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy X. For generations the inhabitants strove to create a paradise and free themselves from strife. An otherworldly island, where its cerulean waters stretch as far as the eye can see. But what lies beyond the vast ocean?

Track #1 "Beyond the Boundary": This track serves as the main theme for the game. When the protagonist finally sets off on her journey across the ocean. 

Track #2 "Nirvana Inn": A place to forget your worries.

Track #3 "Deep Dive": At the island, it's common to find people descending into the ocean to scavenge, or simply bask in it. 

Track #4 "From the Heart": For emotional moments that occur in the game. 

Theme:

"In my world"

How does it fit the theme:

When I saw the art for the theme, I imagined a world covered mostly by water and in the game, you learn the intricacies and the culture of that world through the protagonist. I thought to use Caribbean & Latin instruments (mainly percussion) to reflect the tropical nature of the game. In "Beyond the Boundary", the children's singing is the language they use on the island. In "Deep Dive", I wanted to use synths/pads to add to that feeling that you're underwater. Overall, the songs I was able to make are intended mainly for world-building.
